What is Advanced Dungeons and Dragons?

Advanced Dungeon and Dragon is an improved version of the old game that was called Dungeon and Dragon. If you liked that game, you'll see that it was greatly improved and even better.

Dragon Fight

AD&D is still a RPG (role playing game) in which you can play a character. The first thing you have to do when you want to start playing is to create your character, you define his attributes (strength, dexterity, constitution, wisdom, intelligence, charisma...), his skills (you have a large choice of non-combat skills such as horse riding, fire building and swimming but also of combat skills of any kind). Another thing that you should determine when you create your character is if he'll be a magic user or a fighter, some classes (profession) can be very good at fighting and in magic but most of them have a specialization in one of those.

Your character race is also something that you'll have to chose, will your character be a human like you or will he be a dwarf, an elf, a half-elf or maybe a monster such as an orc (a green creature with long teeth that are not very appreciated by humans).

Now that your character is ready you can start playing in this wonderful game. Your DM (Dungeon Master, the person that prepared the quest in which you'll play) who will take you in this fantasy world full of adventures and challenges. You'll have to face Dragons, ogres and many other monsters to acquire the glory that you are seeking for. Whatever you are planning to do from becoming the new king of Azuiare to creating a guild of assassin to eliminate your enemies you'll get your chance in this game.

When the first edition of AD&D went in stores it was a success, many players wanted to try this new RPG. Then came the second edition, adding a lot of new features and skills to make the game even better for it's players. Recently the 3rd version found a place on the shelves I can't tell you much about this because I didn't have a chance to try it yet but I guess the magic is still there and maybe even more present.

Become a king or an assassin, the choice is yours, but think fast, act quick, enemies are everywhere.
